Expectations
Students receiving seminary scholarship assistance are expected to pursue theological education with humility, integrity, diligence, and faithfulness to Christ and His Church. Scholarship recipients agree to the following expectations:
Faithful Local Church Involvement. Recipients must be faithfully engaged in a local church throughout the duration of the semester. This includes regular worship attendance, active participation in the life of the church, and consistent involvement in discipleship and service.
Submission to Pastoral Leadership. Recipients must remain under the spiritual authority and care of the pastors/elders of their local church and demonstrate a teachable and accountable spirit.
Godly Character and Conduct. Recipients are expected to live lives above reproach, pursuing holiness, integrity, purity, humility, and Christlike character both publicly and privately.
Academic Excellence and Faithfulness. Recipients must approach their studies with diligence and excellence, recognizing theological education as stewardship before the Lord.
Submission of Academic Records. Students who desire continued scholarship assistance in future semesters must submit a copy of their semester grades or transcript upon completion of each semester.
Continued Ministry Engagement. Recipients should actively seek opportunities to serve and grow in ministry within their local church and community during their seminary training.
Doctrinal Integrity. Recipients are expected to uphold sound Christian doctrine consistent with the beliefs and convictions of the scholarship organization/church as articulated in the eligibility requirements document.
Communication and Transparency. Recipients should communicate promptly regarding any significant academic, moral, financial, or ministry changes that may affect their eligibility for scholarship assistance.
Acknowledgment of Scholarship Review. Scholarship assistance is reviewed on a semester-by-semester basis. Future assistance is not guaranteed and depends upon continued faithfulness to these expectations and the availability of funds.
